At 8:45 on Sunday Mornings, interested adults gather for a time of Christian Education. Sometimes, we have a series on a topic, and other times we dive deeper into the week's lessons. If you have a burning question or if you have always wanted to know about something, come on by Sunday School and we can talk about it! Children and Youth Ministries
Developing Faith. One Child at a Time.

At OSLC, we encourage every young person to engage fully in the life of the church. We welcome all ages in worship and provide activity bags for those in the sanctuary and a play space behind the sanctuary where you can still see and hear the service for families who need to move around a little bit more! There is also a nursery available with changing table.

Our youth serve actively in worship as acolytes, lay liturgists, musicians, and as part of our audio-visual ministries and participate in confirmation with other New River valley congregations, in retreats and events with Virginia Synod Youth and summer camp at Caroline Furnace, as well as special events hosted by our congregation.
